Ariana Grande Wants Mac Miller's Drug Dealer Convicted: Report

Ariana Grande reportedly believes Mac Miller's drug dealer deserves time behind bars for contributing to the late rapper's death.

Sources close to the 26-year-old singer told TMZ, she believes Cameron James Pettit — the 28-year-old man who was recently arrested for allegedly selling Mac counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl — "took advantage of someone suffering from addiction and should face harsh consequences" for his role in her ex-boyfriend's death.

The insider added that Ariana feels "anyone who was involved in supplying [the 26-year-old rapper] drugs should be charged and convicted for contributing to his death from an accidental overdose."

As previously reported, Cameron and two other people associated with him are accused of supplying Mac fentanyl-laced drugs. While authorities continue to investigate the case, Ariana sources told TMZ, "the recent arrest has brought some sense of closure to her, though she knows this isn't the end of the story until justice is served."

Cameron's arrest came just days ahead of the one-year anniversary of Mac's death. Law enforcement sources told TMZ, he could be hit with an enhanced drug trafficking charge resulting in death. He is currently facing a charge of distributing a controlled substance. The 28-year-old drug dealer was taken into custody on Wednesday (September 4) and is being held without bond. He's set to be arraigned next month.

Mac, born Malcolm James McCormick, was found dead in his San Fernando Valley home on September 7, 2018. Months later, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office released the late rapper's toxicology report, which confirmed he died from "mixed drug toxicity" — specifically fentanyl and cocaine.
