Omarion clarifies where he stands with his former B2K brethren.

On Friday, February 28, the R&B singer sat down with The Breakfast Club to talk about the Millennium Tour 2025 and everything he's got going on. During the conversation, Jess Hilarious asked Omarion to describe the status of B2K since the "O" singer will touring without Lil Fizz, Raz-B and J-Boog. The 40-year-old artist emphasized that he'll always acknowledge his history with the group and show love whenever possible, but he confirmed he doesn't have much a relationship with his former bandmates.

“I will always honor my group, my foundation, and where I come from,” he said. “As far as personally, we don’t really have a relationship."

Omarion recalled a time when J Boog came to one of his shows. After they chopped it up, O acknowledged that "there will always be a type of love there. We grew up together and did something in our lives that no one else did. There’s always an honor system in that.”

B2K was formed in 1998 with the original members J-Boog, Lil Fizz and Raz-B. Omarion was invited to be the lead singer of the group at a New Years Eve party in 1999. They released their first single "Uh Huh" in 2001 and followed up with their self-titled debut album. The group released three albums before their manager Chris Stokes announced the group broke up in 2004. After they all pursued solo careers, B2K reunited in 2019 for the inaugural Millennium Tour. Omarion's comments about his relationship (or lack thereof) with his former bandmates sparked several conversations among the group and fans alike. After the interview aired Raz-B took to social media and called out the "Touch" singer.

“Being a child of the Most High, people always gonna try to dim your light,” Raz wrote. “Nobody’s told me thank you for feeding their families. Nobody. I take full accountability for my actions on the Millennium Tour, but why would you want to kick your own brother off the tour—when I brought the money to the table—and then put out a press release saying you want to see me in a good light?”
