Andy Byron, CEO of the tech company Astronomer, has resigned following a viral incident at a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The incident occurred when a kiss cam captured Byron with his arms around Kristin Cabot, Astronomer's head of HR. The video quickly spread online, prompting speculation about their relationship.

Astronomer released a statement confirming Byron's resignation and emphasized its commitment to maintaining high standards of conduct and accountability. The company's Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into the matter and has appointed cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy as interim CEO.

Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin, noticed the couple's reaction on the jumbotron and joked, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." The clip has since amassed tens of millions of views.

Astronomer, known for its work in the DataOps space, recently closed a $93 million funding round. Despite the incident, the company assured customers that its focus on solving data and AI challenges remains unchanged.

The Board is now searching for a new CEO to lead the company forward.
