County Leaders Release Plan To Reduce 75% Of Bay Area Homelessness By 2024

Over the last 10 years the Bay Area homeless population has more than doubled! According to recent statistics theres nearly 40,000 people who are unhoused and out on the street across all Bay Area counties.

County leaders have teamed up with housing advocates like non-profit 'All Home' to develop the Regional Action Plan which is hoping to create some racial equity for extremely low income residents in the 9 Bay Area counties.

The RAP will focus primarily on creating more housing with an emphasis on serving the lowest income residents and also making sure less people fall into homelessness each year.
