Dua Lipa closed out the first night of the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One in style with an electric set full of old and new hits, cosmic explosions and dance parties.

The English singer, decked out in a sparkling dress and matching knee-high boots, kicked off her exciting set with a couple songs from her new album Radical Optimism. Dua gave the crowd a glimpse of what her full performance would be like by showing off her moves during "Training Season," even strutting over some of her back-up dancers as they did pushups. She kept the dance party going with "Illusion," where she sings that she could "dance all night."

Dua then took the crowd on a cosmic trip through space with "Levitating," from 2020's Future Nostalgia, as she and her dancers were surrounded by falling stars and swirling galaxies on the stage screen. She threw things back even more with a sassy "new" take on her 2017 hit "New Rules," complete with a dance break.

After confetti rained down on the crowd during "Don't Start Now," an evil laugh led into her final song of the night, "Houdini," another performance where she displayed her killer moves paired with pyrotechnics for a fiery conclusion to an exciting night.

Earlier in the night, Dua caught up with iHeartRadio's Maxwell where she had a hilarious — and very relatable — response to being confronted with older photos of herself.

Dua's performance marks her first U.S. festival date since releasing her latest album Radical Optimism and announcing her accompanying world tour, kicking off in March 2025 in Australia before traveling around Europe and the U.S. through October.

Dua Lipa was just one of the amazing acts to take the stage during the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 20th and 21st. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, other performers throughout the weekend include Paramore, Big Sean, Doja Cat, Victoria Monét, Halsey, The Weeknd, Hozier, Camila Cabello, Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban, New Kids on the Block, Shaboozey, The Black Crowes, Thomas Rhett as well as a special appearance by Coldplay's Chris Martin.

If you missed any of the action this weekend, or just want to relive it all, an iHeartRadio Music Festival special including highlights from the event will be available to stream on Hulu on October 7th.
